Great little book... absolutely loved it.  Fantastic art, good story, tight pacing and a satisfying end.

This was a great mixture of all kinds of things. Loved it.

This was a perfect sense of a good work.  It had good plot development, a right number of characters, a true ending, and leaves you with the right feeling of an ending.

Yes yes 5 stars

i love this 0fbbf481.gif sweet <3

It´s actually quite sad that Hifumi disappeared that mad the end truly sad, even though they all "live within makoto", to be honest I liked the other three more than makoto. However it was an awesome read, loved and the MC I quite liked him he was weak but still tried to hold his ground and didn´t get super overpowered out of some plot armour.

If you haven´t read this you should!!

THIS can't become an anime.

the reason would be because this actually has a plot and actually has an ending.

everything ANIME industry stand against.

Really? Then you should watch more western animated series:)) Trust me at least in the japanese anime we might have 2, 3 or even 4 seasons, but in the end it usually have an ending. Sometime rush, sometime the ending still leaves us some unanswered question but at least there is an ending. Sometime you might have to wait a few years but still compare to many western animated series which got axe in the middle of production I think jap anime still better in term of ending ^^

This manga gave me mix feelings.
Protagonist is the probably among the worst ever(seriously the loveable loser MC is a plague) and some encounters we just so forced it made for some cringeworthy material.
Still there were a couple of decent characters here and there, the plot doesn't stagnate and it's final chapters are done better that most harems.(but not by much and we know that bar is pretty low)

one of my first favorites. so much that i would say it worth a reread.=^.^=

does anyone if this become an anime?

Actually, Ralph is neither dumb nor incompetent.  He just doesn't understand the intricacies of the Japanese Language and makes a lot of verbal blunders (fairly common with non-native speakers) which most Japanese readers find hilarious.  This is a form of humor found all over the world, and not just Japan.  The US television show NCIS invariably has Zeva, the Israeli agent constantly screwing up American idioms.  Aside from that, Ralph's a more than competent battle commander, excellent martial artist, and ends up as a really good friend to both MC's.

its kinda annoying that every manga that has the US in it always makes them bad or incompetent  why no love to the USA

This manga is awesome! It's filled with action, pantyflashes, emotive moments and pantyflashes. Buts seriously, it's a great read with a marvelous ending.

I finished reading this a few years ago, it's still one of the better martial arts manga I've read IMO (not talking about purely realistic martial arts manga... do any exist? Instead referring to those who manage some realism and catch the true spirit of a martial arts manga).

The ending was pretty good, it seemed like it would have a follow-up but this kind of ending is okay too :D

Yeah, the ending was pretty good. Also, the best part for is that comment in the 'Fiancee arc' . " Straight through the dumplings and into the meat" LMAO.

Pretty good. Worth Reading...

Edit :Hibiki was my fav

Most ridiculous MC I've ever seen. I believe the main objective of the author was to create the lamest-annoyingly-weak-pathetic-otaku ever done, and it doesn't change till the very end, even though the manga main focus is not about him, it's hard for me to read something like this, still I did. So in my opinion, it's not worth wasting your time on this. Maybe you might like some of the comedy or action, but still, not worth it. Heed the warning.
Sorry, I got something into my eye...
Mmm, the MC pissed me off all the time, but the rest was pretty good ^~^
Chapter 23, page 15: the rapist.
Very good ending. And very much worth the read.
Lol mini hifumi O__o
3days to read through it...was worth every minute =)

SPOILER!!!

Small Hifumis at the end <3
That ending made me cry man tears.
I liked the pacing and loved the artwork, but the writing was so cliche that it felt plagiarized (main character loses fights then powers up with id, MC with dark past, antagonists who are there just to be stereotype evil bad guys (all that's missing are the maniacal laughs and sacrificing of virgins), etc.).
Oh well, at least it didn't have the rich, handsome rival who fails to steal away the love interest. After the first seven chapters, I was just reading for the fan service.
MidKidz,

I have to admit, I didn't think of that while reading the manga. I clicked on the link, and laughed loud enough to wake up my wife. Thanks.
