Cute new sidestory >_<
What was that chapter... Just me, or was it near incoherent?
So, does that mean the brother is Lugh?
So Irish mythology vs Norse mythology huh?

I think I saw Batman in that last panel. lol
Grimnir up in this muthafucka
Quick prediction on a future plot-twist (sort of). Ragnarök is currently the big evil the Norse gods and their allies are trying to prevent. This is actually quite funny in a way. Let me explain
Everyone here has probably heard of the phoenix, famous for its fiery rebirth. Ragnarök functions like a worldwide version of this. Nearly everyone dies a horrible death, and the remnants wake up in paradise. So in a way it is not all too bad. We even get the best, or at least the most beautiful, god in the whole Norse mythology back, Balder! (And his brother, who happened to kill him. Though it was by mistake.)
There is a lot more to it than this, and I recommend others to read about the whole thing. The fun part though is that in a way, Ragnarök is a necessary evil. Without it the world will be a worse place. Or in other terms, not the Paradise that was foretold. So the people wanting to prevent the Norse gods from altering the course of Ragnarök have a genuine reason to do so. Yes, the whole world will be engulfed in fire. But similar to a phoenix it will emerge in renewed glory. The question is, will that happen if the gods alter the future? Or will the world be turned into a burnt out husk?
This kind of insecurity on whether the gods self-preserving actions are good or not would be rather interesting to read about. Sadly I do not think it will happen, though you can dream.
P.S. Sorry for repeating words, bad structuring and such. It is getting a little late so posting as is.
To end fighting and destruction you have to wipe the slate clean and start over. Or change the world's most fundamental rule, survival of the fittest.
...
like "if you want peace, you better start preparing war first" ...
Thats war hypocrisy for you.
the irony, to cause fighting and destruction to kill the guy who lets fighting and destruction go on
an update :
Oh... *just realized*
And apparently now the two story lines are merging. Have fun backtracking! ;-)
I have to say i am enjoying this series, the only let down for me was switching to the other valkyrie, i just ended up skipping her parts.
...
Looking at the other work ... Always makes me wonder how could "SHIONO Etorouji" create such serious manga like Ubel Blatt ... *z* ...
tough ... not enough loli appearance in Ubel Blatt ... =3= ...
Lol @ the ending. Oh, and cool gadget here:
