Ah, well, in English it's another term for litter box, a box provided for a cat to relieve itself in. Which is why I wondered if this was a case of hilariously unfortunate translation.
Oh... I didn't realise there was any particular meaning in English to it. Could you tell me which one you're thinking of? (I tried looking it up but got a lot of different things.)
"Catbox Reverse" isn't a translation I made, but something the original Chinese version included, so it will stay. If I had to make a guess, the author is trying to reference Schrödinger's cat.
Please tell me that 'catbox' does not mean the same thing in Chinese that it does in English.
