I think I still have the 1st book somewhere on my shelves, bought on a whim years ago because the heroine looked sexy as f.

I really which this series would come back to life, it's one of my all-time favourites, sadly I know the chances for this to happen are just about zero...

Jackson, you are a moron.
That artist doesn't have a patent on sketchy artwork does he?

Simply having an art style is similar to someone else's doesn't mean he copied or imitated him/her. If you look at this artist's other works of art, you'll see that he still maintains this sketchy style of art. You assuming this artist is imitating another artist's style is a pretty audious statement and one I doubt has much truth.

You are quick to assume that this artist is copying a well-known artist's style. What if this is the artist's style and merely similar to another artists? How can you say that he is imitating them simply because the art style is similar? Oh wait, you can't.

You seem to see things in one dimension. All you seem to care about is unique artstyle. Don't neglect the story either.
As someone who pursued art for a while, before giving up due to pressure from family pushing me towards med-school, I will say one thing about this work.

This Chinese artist is disappointing and somewhat unfortunate.

When I was drawing, for example, I took inspiration from other artists, but never wanted to copy or make my work resemble some other artist's style.

I think it's undoubtedly true that for people who pursue art, they want to accomplish something that is unique to their own, and not some cheap imitation to another's work.

However, when I observe the artwork in this manhua, manga, manwha (w/e you call it, they all mean the same thing, as in to "blur" or "dim" from reality = man, and to "draw" or "scribble" = hua or hwa.) I have an undeniable disappointment towards the artist, and feel unfortunate that this artist probably has absolutely no shame in copying Samura Hiroaki's artstyle to the point of exact same rough ink sketch and shadowing technique and character designs.

The purpose of any artist pursuing art is unequivocally to be recognized of his/her artworks among many others. If this Chinese comic artist releases his work with Japanese text and anonymous pen name, 9 out of 10 people are going to assume, it's a work from Samura Hiroaki. Where is the pride in that?

It doesn't have to be completely different from someone else's artstyle, considering the comic industry is vast and widespread, even more nowadays with the internet. But this Chinese artist should have something unique to his artsyle. Something as simple as using different toner techniques, character eye details, hair details, character outlining, etc. Unfortunately, I don't see a single effort from this artist to make his work be distinguishable from Samura Hiroaki's. It is utterly a pale, lifeless, and empty piece of cheap imitation.

Sure the manga and anime industry is generic. However, as much as they are generic, there is a good reason why the successful ones have their own color and substance. When you look at Kubo Tite, Nobuyuki Watsuki, or Takehiko Inoue artworks, you undeniably notice the differences and correlate their works. Can you say the same for this guy and Samura Hiroaki?

I don't know if this guy has been around for a while in the Chinese comic market for a while, or is a new comer, but I hope he develops his art into something of his own, and not some cheap imitation of Samura Hiroaki's.
When he looks at his work right now, he should feel ashamed of himself, otherwise, if he's satisfied with what he has released, then he has no pride at all.
Don't think this series was ever completed, so don't expect an ending.
Thank you Khoaito !
Yeaa.... only turkish translation here. Anyone for english please ?
looks good
I read this one around a year ago and really enjoyed it. It's pretty much non-stop battles and action (which can get gory by the way), so if you're a fan of that kind of stuff, it's definitely something you don't want to miss reading.
