I saw the update of the ending and I was thinking, "Yay!" but then I started reading it and I thought, "Oh dear love please no." I was glad to see it was a happy ending but that last punch of feels hurt. ;;;
unlike most happy endings, this one isn't perfect.
there's no promise of a happily ever after, people just became a little more humane, and nobody had to die.
with the exception of the last chapter.
that one is just pure evil.
but i still can't hate the author.
he's just portraying real life. those things really do happen.
sometimes the ending is "ok" even in reality.

I read all of this in one go and I lost track of how many times I cried. I'm by no means an emotional person, but goddamn why does everyone have a sad backstory? Even the freaking animals have one. At least it was a happy ending.
The happy ending is a bit forced but the sad ending can be considered forced.
As for myself, I am absolutely over the top delighted for the happy ending and that we got to see a bit of their future.
I read the raws and I couldn't see chapters 82 or 83, had to register in korean.... mission impossible for me. So I thought the sad ending was the final ending, at that time I was devastated but now I am delighted, like a sharp rock removed from my heart.

Goddammit, I never asked for this kind of emotional abuse. The title and fluffy pink headers lure you in, and then the series just takes you into a dark alleyway of emotion and gut-punches you the whole way through.
