Chie wishes that her boyfriend Satoshi would show her more affection, but she knows he doesn't like the clingy type. The fact that she's hated by Satoshi's friend Sugiyama Sei doesn't help. However, it turns out that he doesn't hate her after all...

3. Doki-Doki
Miyuki's in love with Shuntaro, but she won't confess because she's afraid of ruining their relationship. But when another girl confesses to Shuntaro, something begins to change...

4. Too Young
Mika's mom doesn't approve of her relationship with Yoshiyuki, her boyfriend. In fact, she doesn't approve of anything Mika does, whether it be losing piano contests or getting Bs on her tests. How far will Mika go to protect their love?

The first one (or 2nd one) made me cry, the last one was stupid. Sweetly written, but the kids were dumb. I had more sense than them when I was TEN. That aside, this is a really sweet collection of Io-sensei's earlier works.

 

I didn't even had that much sense back then when I was 20 though I thought I had way more than any other person in my periphery. =P

It isn't that rare that kids act stupid. Heck it isn't even rare that adults act stupid even though we should be there to cover the stupid things children do. 

I almost cried during the first story. That was beautiful! I love it!! =D

I think the last story isn't all that bad, actually. It's not going to end happily after the open ending, but for what it was, it was pleasant. The first one certainly had me teary, though.

The art looks like it's early. Not, maybe, at her full power yet. But it's still Sakisaka Io, and that means good, strong stuff. Simple but true.
