I felt it was weird that silver-mc-guy was out in the real world, when it was more than implied that he strolled about in the 3rd layer which is allegedly impossible to escape from.
Yet, here we are. I thought the story will gloss over it at some point, but it still hasn't come up.

P.S: Was I the only one who read "Red Hummer" in the most Engrish, Asian pronunciation possible? Red Hwu-mah.

If you get killed by the guardian of the 3rd floor gate, you get dragged into the 3rd floor and cant escape. If you beat it, you can come and go if you want.

I dont complain over the weirdness of these floors or gates or other things due them being just "facts" in the story, but that reaper chasing them pissed me off. How the everliving hell did they influence a thing in another persons brain to suddenly break rules supposedly "set in stone". I thought they just spread a rumor that you can get into 3rd floor by default (omitting that you cant escape if you die), but for some fucked up reason one person has a programmed grim reaper menos grande tentacle monster inside his brain which was supposedly caused by this "god" of ours and is able to chase out from the zone..

Hmmm...this just has gotten really predictable recently...

Not that it wasn't before, but it was at least predictable in a refreshing way. And yes, I realize that makes no sense. Now it's just boring.

Well, I'll just quietly unfollow this and be on my way.

It's more of a "unrequited love and betrayal of expectation" sort of projection. Don't expect much in ways of logic, when all she's trying to say is that she's disappointed he's not behaving how she wants him to.

I'm madder at the way his character is set up from the get-go, and the fact that the useless orange haired chick is the heroine, if he had some ambition and was a bit more ruthless, he could have the VR kingdom, his life in reality, and the love he wants.

It's more of a "unrequited love and betrayal of expectation" sort of projection. Don't expect much in ways of logic, when all she's trying to say is that she's disappointed he's not behaving how she wants him to.

On the one hand they caused the current situation by leaving, but on the other hand, they have a right to live out their lives the way they want to, I am not a fan of power equaling responsibility, if they want to be a martyr for others then fine, but if they don't then you can f*** off.

This story sure took quite a turn. Is it going to end soon or what? I can only imagine that the current arc is going to focus on the girl's body, seeing as it's doubtful that her dad will want to repeat the same process he went with his son. Tension time.

I know that. The problem is it's by a chance she's even playing the game. What if she never picked up and played the damn game? The sleepy head have no influence over the real world but the way he talk all high and mighty when he did nothing is funny for me lol.

The power levels in this story starts to feel real shaky and inconsistent, huh? It's kind of difficult to understand why one is weak, and why the other is strong. They just sort of seem like they do.
I honestly would not be surprised if it'd be revealed that all equipment have stats, and the "elites'" are much superior.

@banjomarx The guy is talking about the themes of the story, how it goes for cheap tricks to elicit emotion from the reader. You conclude that he is in denial of our darker parts :| 

@Solipsist Most webtoon authors don't appear to be have invested a lot of time in studying literature, they simply want to draw a story. Expecting them to have a feel for how to actually tell that story in the best way there is, is asking a little too much

I don't want to turn this into a huge debate, since this is a really basic mango, and it uses really basic tropes to say really basic things. I merely expressed how those tropes were played around and I found the latter to be even below of what I expect of the genre.
The "rape thing" you talk about, happened for like 2 pages, and then it was immediately concluded by the OPMC. There was the expectation that the situation specifically happens just so he can rescue the girl and introduce himself into the plot.

The "slavery thing", however, did not have anything like that. There was no one to rescue them, at least not immediately. In my mind, I had built the expectation that they'd now be in an "enslaved" situation, in contrast to the "rape" which I knew will never actually happen -- and boy did I not care to read about anything like that.
So, yeah. On their own these two topics are the same. But they were not used in the same way.
