The entire magazine ceased publication.  The last issue was published in December 2014.  I suppose you could blame the senior management at Takeshobo, if you feel the need to blame someone.  In this case, it wasn't the series that got the axe, it was the entire magazine.

Manga Club Original:  1999 - 2014  R.I.P.

some series do get restarted in other publication tho...

but guess this series wasn't popular enough for that, LOL

well... there goes the sudden end for this... *sad face*...

we'll never see him grown up... NEVER... *Rips up the internet*

Why end now? : <

Thanks ciel, sweet like usual.

Now, I will just patiently wait for your another vanilla supply.

Mhh, I feel weird reading all these comments about how good this was~ o_o Somehow I'm totally fine with this being the last chapter. ^_^ The chemistry between the two was kinda cute, but... the comedy aspect and the characters themselves didn't appeal to me at all. I don't want to say that it was a boring read, but it wasn't anything that great either. ._.

Nooooo :(. It was such a sweet little story.
Damn... I would have loved to see this come to its real conclusion, and not the magazine shutting down one...

Wish we could have seen a kiss at least though.
....WHAT. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
This is giving me flashbacks to what happened with Chimoguri Ringo. Uuuurrgh...

Man. One side of me is raging for more, while the other is just smiling and almost tearing up.

Same thing happened to Tengu Machi (more or less the title). The scans are almost at the end, because the magazine went down..

Wait, why? Next you gonna tell me Sensei Lock-On is gonna end too. (pls no)

It won't :)

End?? Guess no one wants to read about a short prince and a princess who loves him unequivocally =( Humans, you suck!

Well, this ending is as satisfying as a rushed ending could hope to be, I am happy to have read this but it is sad that it ended so soon. Thanks for your work in this manga, I will have fond memories of it.

if you read at the end, its the author's fault, his computer malfunction and all the data were lost

so think about this, if you're a strict company with a strict policy and the author you contracted with screw up last minute with mediocre common love genre manga that is somehow not hated, but not famous at the same time , you would probably terminate it anyway, i mean to be fair, this aint no nisekoi or etc, i guess they were just really pissed off at him/her because the author didnt take care the series serious enough as if the series barely generate any popularity or money in japan community, and the author didnt even try to make backup just incase things like this happen and to be fair, it did happened,

so if you wanna blame someone, blame the author's incompetence ,

have a nice day gents, its been a pleasure to ride with you guys on this sinking ship, may our path crossed once again in the future in some other manga

*Celine Dion Music ensued*

last chapter = was already been deemed as axed.  And he said on the same page you're talking about that he did it on time, so idk what you're talking about.

MAL doesn't list a chapter count, but they do think this series has 2 volumes.  Is really over?????

And my reaction after finishing reading is: "Fuck you, Manga Club Original"

Count me also among the surprised when I saw this chapter with the [End] brackets tagged on the end.

On the bright side of things at least it was not dragged out ad nauseum, I guess.

Still, the series was cute enough for what it was. :)

Are we reading the same page?

The author stated his computer broke on the day before deadline for the final chapter, but he still made it in time.

This has nothing to do with his computer going malfunction, you idiot. His series was already decided to be axed when his computer went down. That's why he said " computer broke before deadline of final chapter"

End of a fucking cute vanilla story. I honestly like the dynamic between the haughty Hi-chan and the honest Kotori, sad to see them end so early on.

What a rush ending, damn!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT THE FKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Are the editors of the magazine single dudes who hates romance or something....
P/s : good job, one of the cutest romance manga out there. So sad it's ended .

Well, that's one vanilla ice cream I can't taste again forever.

If Kotori likes Hi-chan as he is, I guess she'll be disappointed when he finally hits his growth spurt? O.o

But yeah, fairly rushed ending, me not likey.

shit, the moe ended too early mmm...

I had the same reaction.

Today is a sad day.
