Moving forward decisively! I like that in a shoujo.
Well, the second chapter with the new translator shows some improvement. It's still awkward as hell, but whoever it is has been working on past tense, so that helps. Hopefully they will continue to get better.
Chibi is a big, old group, always running a whole lot of titles. I'm pretty sure a lot of people have come and gone from a lot of projects going under the name "Chibi Manga". I've always had the vague impression that Chibi is a good group for community and nurturing new talent, not always so much for perfection of results. They get a lot done and have for a long time; quality does vary. So, no surprise if someone moves on and someone else starts work who is maybe kind of new and it's still "Chibi".
Um, I think they had a translator change, and are also in need of proofreaders (from looking at the credits page and recruitment page). Please be understanding that postions are not consistant and translators are real life people who may quit at anytime due to real life issues...
so whats the deal, is this unreadable translation what we have now? Dont mean to sound like a dick but if thats the quality of the translation chibi manga is able to put out for this now for some reason, i would say they should just drop it. Its utter crap and not even really readable. I seemed to have better luck reading the spanish version o_O
i was just about to post this... seriously, what the HELL? The group is listed as the same, Id say they were doing a pretty good job, then this? Are they trolling? I cant see any other reason to have a translation this bad, i cant even tell what they're trying to say half the time. I just stopped reading about a dozen pages in because it made no sense

So I'm liking the manga, but MAN the english is rough. ChibiManga needs a new proofer.

The English in chapter 8 is quite bad, definitely under Chibi manga standards
