ch 23 is not working

Thanks for the new update. I started reading it today and I like the characters. I think the author did a good job in portraying their feelings especially Mimi's. I don't like all her decisions but I can understand why she made them.

i couldn't even get past the 3rd chapter, honestly. I mean, what the heck did she expect to happen when she was dating a teacher. of course it gonna end like that. she should have known this cause its pretty common sense. there is no reason to feel sorry for her at all, she doesn't deserve pity. i wanna know if he went to jail cause in america that's prison time for having a sexual relationship with a student, regardless of if its consensual or not. well, i just stopped cause it was annoying to read.

It's Japan, so it's ok.

And it's not like Mimi is a rocket scientist, far from it. Even being as smart as someone that hands tissues out to people is a stretch.

The immunity to prosecution, job security and legendary perks enjoyed by Japanese teachers are again in the news, in the unusual case of a teacher who actually managed to lose his job by having sex with one of his pupils at school, also taking her home for good measure.

A male teacher in his twenties teaching at an Oita prefecture middle school was found to have engaged in indecent activities with one of his pupils at his apartment and in the school itself.

The pair became intimate after exchanging mails (although why they were engaged in such an exchange in the first place is not clear), there apparently not having been a monetary aspect to the relationship.

After the girl’s parents found out she was having sex with her teacher they informed the school, who launched an investigation.

The local educational authority claims they did not want her antics to expose her antics, so they have withheld the identity of the teacher and the school at which it occurred.

The teacher has been sacked but faces no other action, saying “My conduct was inexcusable.” For reasons which are not clear, the 50-year-old school principal was also punished with the loss of a month’s pay.

That's just excuse for drama, IMO
