So....where can read the full manga in english?

https://mangabrog.wordpress.com/2014/06/22/i-believe-in-female-supremacism-a-hiroaki-samura-interview/

interview with hiroaki samura not long after finishing BOTI, in which he discusses his influences as a manga artist, his tendency to have horrible things happen to his characters, and why the women in his manga always seem to come out on top.

I don't understand why so many people seem to dislike the ending of Mugen no Juunin. As I see it, it's an ending that's coherent and realistic under the light of all the storytelling and character development conducted throughout the series. An ending does not have to be a happy ending to be a good ending. In fact, a happy ending here, considering how the characters of Rin and Manji were developed, would feel utterly forced to me. I'm much happier with this end.

But MUH RIN.

I kinda hoped Manji and Rin would end up together.

Then again, it was clear that it wasn't a possibility. Manji probably wouldn't want to get Rin involved in his dangerous life. He only took her along until then because she has a reason (her revenge), but now there is no point in her sticking with a criminal so Manji probably just wished for Rin to have a more normal life.

So leaving Rin alone was the best way for Manji to show his love.

Am I the only one thinking he is pretty weak? I've only red 3 volumes but he gets costantly beaten before winning, just because he is immortal.

I believe the explanation is that Manji got sloppy over the years, since he can always rely on his immortality. His peak was probably when he was killing those 100 kengo. And when he had both eyes, now that I think about it. Since his vow, I'm going to assume he hasn't actually engaged in combat that often, or against skilled swordsman, so he's rusty on top of that.

The Itto-Ryu are always fighting and honing their skills, presumably, and it's probably to Manji's credit that he can still sort of hang with their top guys. I've always wondered how the hundred man killer, pre-immortality, would have stacked up against the Itto-ryu's finest.

why arent there any english chapters from chapter 1!?

English Publisher
Dark Horse (25 Volumes - Ongoing)

Probably some kind of copyright stuff going on...

That ending... can't be called anything but a lackluster.

I expected something at least slightly more romance'ish.

Lets hope he makes a continuation of the story sometime soon.

FUCK MY LIFE WHY DO THEY HAVE TO KEEP DOING THIS BULLSHIT ENDINGS. MYGOD.

There seem to be some errors...

When Rin goes to rescue Manji in the Dungeon under Edo castle (around Chapter 129 +/-), the cage which holds 3 fighters (the doctor asks them to go and kill Manji) seems to go all the way up to the ceiling, however when the water breaks thru, one picture shows a huge gap between the metal bars and the ceiling.

When Manji is attacked by 4 guys in masks after he was fishing by the river (around Chapter 137 +/-), the masks change their expression during the fight... oO

Also, it is said that Habaki trained the Rokki-dan by himself, but he has to introduce himself when they are gathered ... ?

Anyone else notice stuff like that?

I love the manga by the way...

What a fantastic series. Manji is the best. I love inperfect characters or ones that struggle through things and dont
have unending destructive power. Spoiler below:

What a freaking bummer than he and Rin didn't get together. Ffs. Would have been the perfect series.

Wow, what a ride :)

Thank you

Not the most satisfying ending I could have hoped for, but the series was so good all way through that I can´t but be grateful and sad that it's over. Definitely something to be re-read at some point.

Thanks to everyone involved in the scanlation, great job.

After all this years it comes to an end.. so sad but yet fulfilling. Together with Berserk and Shin angyo onshi, this is one of the best mangas I've ever read. Amazing art and story, a true masterpiece. Thx to all scanlators!

Spoiler

The end of a masterpiece, one of my all time favorites. Thanks to all the scanlators.

Well, I was hoping for a bit of a happier end, and for Rin to indulge in her youth with Majin a bit more.  But still, a fine end for a fine series.

Well that escalated quickly...

Spoiler

And so it ends... this was one hell of a ride and I enjoyed it all the way through.

It was a sort of bittersweet ending for me though

Spoiler

Kinda sad ending, though Rin propably is right with the things she says here.

In the appendix a new work is mentioned, anyone got information on it´s release and if there is a group translating it? I would really like to see the authors next story...

Oh boy, badass femme fatale type MC? Count me in.
