So sad Naver's pulled a bunch, including this one. It's beautifully done and really plays with some interesting character development.

Joon - MC whose father died, yet was able to overcome that tragedy and grow. Not naive, but quite innocent.

Seh-Min - Nonchalent individual with a troubled childhood from being rejected by his family (chapter 4: a bastard?), especially his mother, leading to an unhealthy low self esteem. Even after maturation, he is unable to move on, relating his experiences to the trauma in his past (the ghost of his mum, all of his flashbacks are to his childhood). As a loner who doesn't know how to make friends or have anyone to confide in (he doesn't tell Joon anything), he slowly regresses. Without Joon though, he regresses faster. For some reason he doesn't nurture his relationship with Joon, even though it's the one good thing that this comic has shown he has (telling Joon that he liked Miho. Was it a test to see how Joon would react when he suffered? Was it a warning to stay away from Miho, or was it the truth?). When he sees other people suffering, Joon's mum and when he threw up on Miho, he's willing to care for them. Even though he knows Miho hates him, he still is willing to bail her out on the boat (though intentionally hitting a nerve by suggesting twice that they are a couple which throws things askew). We do see him confront his trauma: punching the mirror, cutting himself or telling Miho to push him onto the road. It's usually to run away and hide (behind that tearless smile) or die. Perhaps the reason why he chooses to remain impassive and withdrawn from everyone but his uncle is because of Marie, i.e. possible previous experiences. He joked around saying that he'll kill Marie probably because of what happened between her and Miho. Maybe the way he acts towards Miho, smiling at her, is to try to be friendly and try to make up.

Miho - She serves as a foil character. The moments when we are shown her thoughts, she is a jealous and self centred. She seeks the comfort and attention that Joon gives to Seh-min, unable to understand why Joon does so. Because of that, she has a personal vendetta against Seh-Min - anything Seh-Min does or doesn't do, she somehow finds a way to dislike it. Stressed, she places the blame on Seh-min as a coping mechanism. When Seh-min helps her avoid those two men on the boat, she doesn't thank him or explain that she wanted to talk to them further, but yells and walks off, leaving the three men to talk to each other. Who can blame her, he's the hurdle/thirdwheel to her happy ending, right? I mean even in her dreams of Joon (prologue), Seh-Min's there.

Honestly, I love how Oh Jihye switches between perspectives. It allows you to empathise with each character. Each character is a piece of work.

I can already tell this is going to play with my emotions a lot and not in a good way. Most likely a lot of frustration and sadness, I don't know why I do this to myself

Hm. Well, it's good. But I don't really like it because it doesn't fit my taste. I don't like stories told in funny order, especially when the point is to tease you with partial revelations and suchlike; I never liked that kind of thing and I've lost patience with it more as I've gotten older. And I don't like triangles as a rule. And I don't like melodrama; this isn't quite there but it's a bit overdone. And I don't like stories where the point is to manipulate you into sympathy for an a-hole, which seems to be a major place this is going.

So . . . on a pure skill basis this is probably worth following, but I think I won't.

It is like, webtoonized Korean drama.

But the art, it is gorgeous, reminds me of a more older style of manga and manhwa, but with some modern touchs, and there something with the colours.

And what is with that, ghost?

Following nonetheless, but eventually i will regret, in what way, we will see.

I just have to say this: MAN THE ART IS SO PRETTY. Like the main female character is one of the most prettily drawn, prettiest characters I've come across. Thank you, scanlators, for translating this webtoon!

Barely a few chapters in and I already don't like the blonde guy at all. And after checking out the raws, I see that won't change.

I just hope the author won't start shipping the blonde guy with the main girl, that would be a deal breaker for me...

I really think that's the way this is going to work out though

Yea so far I don't have a very good impression of the guy, which I'm sure is the author's intention. We'll probably learn more about him later but so far seeing him bother the girl when she obviously doesn't like it with his "I'm actually hurting inside but I'll pretend I'm indifferent" face annoys me a bit.

How many chapters are out so far? No problem just knowing that there are a couple more chapters already translated is good news to me.

seems like the guy may actually not die? I thought this was going to be about the memories and good times they spent together before he got hit but apparently it's not that cliche. Seems like it might alternate between flashbacks and the present.

There's just something about romance tragedies that compels me every time. I might just be a hopeless romantic but I find the stories to be really beautiful, in a melancholic sort of way.
