Kid these days...
This is such a stark contrast to modern manga.
It's from 1997, that's absolutely nothing.
The oldest manga I read is from 1970 and even that isn't close to the oldest.
You, sir, are exaggerating. It's definitely old by today's standards but it's not even halfway back to the start of manga.
