Description: At school, Kamazaki feels as though there is a circle drawn around her, a line that no one will cross. Part of it is because her face looks mean, part of it is because she's pretty socially awkward, and a large part of it is that she has earned a reputation for being really bad-tempered and violent to the people around her. However, this all changes in her second year of high school, when the cute, friendly, and popular Kume Asami crosses that invisible line and decides to be her friend. Kume introduces "Kama-chan" to friendship and to the 5-man football club that meets on the school roof. As Kama cautiously enters Kume's club, she may find herself able to grow past the bad expectations people have of her, and enter into a new, happier, high school life.

when you read football in the description but the tankobun cover features soccer balls...

Can't people just stop using the term football for soccer?

I mean, there is only 1 term for football, i.e. (American) football, but soccer somehow has soccer and football, too.

It's damn confusing and irritating, especially since in Japan, there are both soccer and football clubs/leagues.

You do realize that in the majority of the world the term "football" is associated with "soccer" and not "american football", right?Of course, in the other countries it can be misleading, but still majority wins.

It's going to be a hard sell, but you're welcome to try. I suggest starting with FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association).

That is because it IS the same artist. Osada Yoshimi is her real name, and she draws erotic manga under the "Hana Hook" pen name.

Fuck me, Hana Hook is a chick!?

Now wonder she always drew Milf vs shota!

Now I have to go to Japan and propose, damn it!

I know, it's almost like they're high-schoolers.

Your right. They seem like high schoolers, but they're probably something else entirely *thinking*

Oh holy shit, I forgot this existed. Excellent to see it return.

These female characters are straight awful lol.

I know, it's almost like they're high-schoolers.

This is some top tier bullying.

I hope this is gets updated more regularly now.

Oi oi look what the cat brought in

Witwiw.. A random chapter appears!! <3 Thanks for the update in 2 years.. XD

wish this was finished.

I can relate to a lot of things in this manga so I rather like it. It also helps that I've not read anything similiar until now.

Thank you iMangaScans!

Finally a new chapter. I hope more are on their way.

Right this is driving me crazy it is most likely coincidence but I am looking at this artist and I am wondering if he is using an alternative name. The art style in some ways resembles hentai artist hana hook if you look at the characters especially on chapter title pages it just looks so much alike, As soon as I saw this I thought that art style looks  familiar maybe coincidence but weird when I compare the characters

Oh wow, and now a manga - a fictional work for kids and teens(!)  - "proves" your point... you're getting better and better, keep it up!

I could go and disect the new chapter on how that would not work... but I guess you are too far gone for that to do anything. Have fun thinking you made your point. Having a great suspension of disbelief, or just not knowing any better - I guess they work equally well at enjoying works of fiction.

you could "disect" all you want, you are too deluded to actually say anything meaningful at this point. its almost as talking to religious people.

i didnt really need to. this chapter just proved my point.

Oh now, after your eloquent and extensive explanation, it suddenly all makes sense. I apologize for everything I said, obviously I was wrong. /sarcasm

I agree she needs training, but no team will ever improve without in game advice. I agree that she shouldn't be spacing out during the game, but at the same time this is her first time playing in a game. And she won't improve unless she gets any experience in a game. Yes training is good, but it only gets you so far. Playing in a game will test to see how much of the training has sunk in.

I would have to disagree with you about having or not having Kama out on the field having her their or not having her their would change much. The players are still gonna be working just as hard as if Kama isn't their at all. The only difference in my opinion is that this is giving a beginner like Kama some game experience giving her some idea as to what a game is really like a feet wetting so to speak.

Maybe we should open a forum for this depending on how long this conversation goes on.

I agree that no player can ever become really good without match experience. We're just disagreeing about whether waiting (and training) until a player can be called match-ready or to just throw them in before they are at that point and hope for the best. We'll just have to agree to disagree about that, I think.

You misunderstood me about that second part. I am not saying that the others are working less with Kama on the field. I am saying that they cannot rely on their team performance, since there is one unreliable element in the team where you never know what that person will do next. It is - from my experience both playing and watching - easier to play with a man down, but having a team that you know well and can trust, rather than having a "full" team by numbers with one unstable element.

im sorry but not only are you extremely naive about this, but also completely wrong.

No advice will help in this situation. She needs training, not some advice in the middle of the game.

First of all: no idea why you keep insisting that the bitching of her teammates is detrimental. I said that myself, no idea why you feel the need to reiterate that. We agree on that point.

No advice will help in this situation. She needs training, not some advice in the middle of the game. As if she didn't know herself that she shouldn't space out half the time, or just randomly kick the ball around screaming "someone, help!"... she does not need somebody to tell her that is wrong. She still does it, because she's just not ready to play an actual game. Trying to coach her in the midst of the game would do absolutely nothing but distract her co-players even more.

Also, I disagree that having somebody like Kama around is better than being a player down. It is actually easier to have a player less yet knowing you can rely on everybody in your team than having a full strength team if you go by numbers while having somebody in your ranks where you never know what kind of stupid crap they are going to pull the next second.
