I would actually like to read a manga about that :o

there was 2 movies about that, one is "the edge of tomorrow" and the other is called "knowing"

That was stupid.

She went back in time to 9/11. If only that happened in real life for the twin towers.

Wow I'm morbid.

I would actually like to read a manga about that :o

I feel like the moral of this story is to never ask god for help for the things you can do for yourself. The gods never go halvsies!

....after i read this i wondered if god is just playing around with people...

it seems his plan was:

[spoiler]Get a man to nearly kills both people to help them get together{/spoiler]

i cried but i don't know if it was from sadness, embarrassment, or laughter

@Theoderich

Wow, I'm a little nervous that someone actually took the time to write something like this, even more so that a couple peopled 'Liked' it… Ugh, I hope I’m not worse for actually responding…

I'll hit a couple of your 'highlights' just because I'm bored:

I) Enemy of all of humanity, not really sure where you got that, guess it's just one of those blanket statements people like to make without any evidence behind it. I guess if the US was similar to Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Syria, or Germany and Japan (can even throw Russia back in the mix again) circa WWII then you might have at least a starting point to your argument, but they are not, at least not in the human (humanity) rights departments.

II) Do you seriously think the US has the wherewithal to purposefully destroy economies of whole countries when they can't even get theirs figured out and on track... seriously…

III) Human rights, really... Fire up your favorite search engine and look up human rights violations and China, Russia, North Korea, Egypt, or most recently Syria. I don't remember the US ever gassing its own people, telling families how many children they could have, having deaths caused by female genital mutilation, or making people disappear if they don't agree with the ruling party.

IV) I don't personally know anyone from the US ignorant enough to call their form of government a democracy, it's actually a representative republic, hence the Electoral College, and not a straight popular vote.

"In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve."

-Alexis de Tocqueville

I will grant you that many people in the US are not happy with how the election process works (see quote above), but they are openly trying to change it, and believe it or not, they aren't imprisoned, stoned to death, executed, or made to disappear.

V) And yes, many Native Americans died when settlers from Europe came to North America, just like many settlers died as well. But the natives and settlers did not all die out, in fact "none of the warfare [...] on either side amounted to genocide. Colonial and, later, the American government, never endorsed or practiced a policy of Indian extermination; rather, the official leaders of white society tried to restrain some of their settlers and militias and paramilitary groups from unnecessary conflict and brutality.

Moreover, the real decimation of Indian populations had nothing to do with massacres or military actions, but rather stemmed from infectious diseases that white settlers brought with them at the time they first arrived in the New World."

And the "towers weren't enough" quip, are you suggesting that more innocent American blood needs to be spilled...

It's sickening that you would suggest a group of crazies didn't go far enough in murdering innocents while espousing the belief that killing a murder (Bin Laden) was wrong.

It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve heard something along these lines, so forgive me if I’m misinterpreting your comment.

I guess I could give you the benefit of the doubt and read this quip to mean that they should go farther back in time to correct all the mistakes the US has made… Hopefully they wouldn’t go back and ‘fix’ all the good the US has done as well.

Oh, and I too can make blanket statements that have no bearing on reality:

The Chronicles of Narina was originally written by Fellows at the Trilateral Commission to stem the tide of the ever increasing power of the Church of England (who, at the time was backed by the Council of Foreign Relations, then headquartered out of Oslo) and its battle to seize control of Protestant missionaries in South Africa during the 1950s.

… complete fiction.

But if you want to believe it, I can probably find some online source to cite (hold on while I write up the wiki article myself) to set your conscience at ease.

Sorry to everyone who decided to read my novel of a comment.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Californian

the towers weren't enough...

I mean, seriously the U.S.A. is the enemy of all humanity[except those in Israel] for always waging wars, destroying economies of whole countries through their banks/banking system, oppressing world trade with a dollar that is not worth the paper that it is printed onto and assassinate people with their unmanned aerial vehicles.

I mean they even assassinated Osama Bin Laden with their armed forces although he was under Pakistans jurisdiction[normally the police should've arrested him, put him to trial and then maybe extradite him to the U.S.] and didn't give a damn about human rights or whatever they always use as an excuse to throw dirt at other states like Russia or China.

Heck, they even have a torture-prison in Cuba... and now they even steal everyones internet and telephone-data, saying it's for anti-terror purposes. Weak excuses every time.

But the worst crime is that they call themselves a democracy. Just to state a fact: currently, the number of democratic states on this world is 0. That is due to the fact that :

1. The executive organ of a democracy is the ekklesia[ἐκκλησία; gr. for moot]. In todays politics the executive organ is a parliament like in the Roman republic which was not a democratic form of state.

2. There can be no political parties in a democracy. Why? Because parties are always having a program that is created to suit a spefic interest group rather than the people in whole.

They will always create coalitions in the parliament to oppress their ideas through the parliament onto the people leaving them with no chance to participate in that process at all.

In the end, parties are an instrument to phase representatives and to rule the nation in a state of Tyranny for a set amount of time.

3. Elections are not always direct and most people are not prohibited to be in representative service for continuous legislative periods, which makes them highly prone to corruption( in ancient Greece you could only be elected twice in your lifetime for a 1 year-period and not for two consecutive periods).

Another thing to mention is the highly mafia-like structure of party-votes, because rather than deciding by lot who gets to sit in parliament[ as it was in ancient Greece for the council of the 500, those Bouleuten were allotted of all nominated by their districts] you vote on lists with a fixed order who gets to sit in parliament if the votes are sufficient.

This also facilitates corruption and dependency in said parties.

That's just to name a few differences between a democratic state and a republic[that's what most modern states are actually] after the Roman model[not to forget most "American" people nowadays are descendents of people from Europe that invaded the American continent and exterminated its inhabitants, seizing their land and ressources{the only genocide in history by the way were actually whole peoples/folks died out; other genocides claimed in more recent times only diminished the numbers of peoples like Armenians,Jews, etc.; they still exist today so the "genus" was not "caedere" 'd...}].

... Let's keep politics out of our comic comments... please?

woah, that sure turned out nice.

Oh man *wipes tear from eye*, that was hilarious and sweet. It would suck to be that criminal:

"Hey, did you hear about the new guy?"

"Hehe, yeah, I heard that a young girl smashed him in the face with an umbrella and knocked him out cold."

[insert group laughter here]

That girl is seriously made of iron. Takes a bullet to her abdomen, gets faint for a little while, then still has the energy to throw out a bottle of gasoline, reach for her bag, and deck someone in the face with an umbrella on full power. THEN she faints after what, like 6 pages of class aftermath?

I daresay, that is one hell of a second wind.

This was a cute read.

hmmm... I like it.

Wow I'm morbid.
Part 2 was pure awesome, haha
art was nice
Wow, 2 years to translate part 2. Lolz
I didn't hear anything! Really!
lol the "plot twist" in the 2nd part, I may have laughed way too much over that development haha
Omigosh! This was sooo cute! (●>ω<●)
</3 I don't think it's a complete one-shot, it's only part 1.
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=64556
just checked the scanlators website and it seems part 2 is in typesetting by Fallen Syndicate. (TC, the group that did part 1, merged with Black Abyss to form Fallen Syndicate)
man i thought the story line had great potential actually sadly it doesn't look like anythings gonna happen
nothing really new
This one shot doesn't even have a proper resolution and is fairly cliché anyway.
