Presumably artist was dropped and they went for a new artist? Or maybe it was a preview of sorts to advertise the light novel, with the 'X' remake being the official manga version?

Now, is the original source a light novel or a visual novel? I would have been inclined to guess VN from the way most of the MC's dialogue has him speaking off camera, but the comments are making reference to a LN. Ah well, I suppose both mediums tend to have faceless MCs

Surprisingly i found all the caracters likeable, even Azusa, she may be demand but to me this was handled fine, she is cute, and about the mc he is a rare case of a op caracters who is fairly well made, he has a good personality and dont seem forced.
Azusa is the character type I hate the most. It's a shame that it feels like any development will have to include her to force things along. Otherwise I like this and thanks for the chapter!
