good story but I would've enjoyed it more if they didn't focus on a character that is 'childish' (for a merc.) but an actual qualified veteran mercenary that can kill whenever necessary and an actual plot that is related to the war, which would have an effect on various other characters, rather than focusing on a side story in the AC tournaments.

ohoooo not bad...
but i prefer if they make anime from this

It's a wish many AC fans would like to see...but it will never happen.

@TetsuDan That's why there's Full Metal Panic.
A manga that is not gundam. *follows*
Honestly, this made the AC series look a bit silly. The characters were too human, especially toward each other, for mercenaries who could become enemies at any moment. There wasn't that strict business atmosphere you got from pretty much all the games, where the most emotion you got from pretty much any character was a self-sacrifice speech or angry death threat. Far too much emotion. At the very least, far too much visible honesty. I don't mind a little backstory on pilots, but this was just a little too fluffy for AC.

I mean, think Gundam Wing (cringeworthy, I know) only much more cutthroat. Politics saturated just about every decision and someone you co-oped one mission with could be your enemy in the next (and vice-versa). That is AC. This... This is kindergarten.
That-That's it?
Why does it say "look forward to the author's next work" on the last page?!?
