The technology of "Man Home" (formerly Earth) has not entirely reached this planet, and Akari is alone, having no contact with family or friends. Nonetheless, the town, with its charming labyrinths of rivers and canals, becomes Akari's new infatuation, along with the dream of becoming a full-fledged gondolier. Reverting to a more "primitive" lifestyle and pursuing a new trade, the character of Akari becomes both adventurous and heartwarming all at once.

This is alot like Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.

Chapter 50, page 8 through 57.5 no longer work.
Just an FYI.
... Or it was just my connection? Odd, it was the only thing not working...

I heard lots of good things about this manga and decided to give it a try.  I read the first 3 chapters (not the omakes) and was bored out of my skull.  According to some of the other comments, this doesn't have much in the way of plot, and is really more of a pretty-girls-doing-everyday-things-in-a-tranquil-setting kind of slice-of-life manga...which bores the snot out of me since I could just watch my daughters and get way better. :/ I even skipped ahead to near the end (since everyone was gushing about how sad and beautiful it was), and aside from not knowing who a few characters were, it didn't feel like I was missing anything.  I will say that the art got better, though (and it was nice at the beginning, too).

So, in short, if you're looking for plot, move along, nothing to see here.  If you've got some time to burn and nothing to do, and you like pretty-girls-doing-everyday-things-in-a-tranquil-setting, I guess this'd be fine.

I experienced the same thing first. When i read the first three chapters, I quickly understand that this series offer much about the feels of each episodes rather than coherent plot between chapters.

Knowing that, I changed my gear to look for the anime, since anime is capable in giving you much more feeling using its animated picture plus the sound (n yes, the OST is darn beautiful). My decision was correct and I could appreciate the series well (which is I agree with most of the commenter that this manga is masterpiece).

Maybe for you who can't 'feel' the series can try the anime... After you get the gist, you can freely read this manga (because it's worth it in my ops... There r some chapters which isnt included in anime... N the feels r different too)

Is Aria The Masterpiece same chapters? Or did they add new stuff?

This is probably the most beautiful things I've ever experienced.
One of the best mangas I've read in a very long time.

For the scanlator group who work hard to scan and translate the newest chapter, all I can say is 'Thank you very much'.

.

This series has been my favorite ever since it was published in my country and had become inspiration for me and my brother. We never thought that we will see any new chapter as the series was supposed to be ended long time ago. And now, we really happy to see one more chapter that pretty much closed the ARIA series.

.

It's been a good ride, and this is one manga title that will stay in my heart for a very long time.

Wow, an extra chapter! Now I only wish someone scanlated & uploaded the special chapters of the two versions of Aqua Vol. 2: "Othello Game", "Enter The Hero" and "Colds And Pudding".

Colds and Pudding appear at Indonesian version of AQUA Vol 2 as the Special Navigation.

My heart… I'm really happy to see a new chapter, but really sad at the sad time...

I keep coming back to this series, it just have this real heart-warming feeling to it.

And this chapter was no different, albeit being a bit sad.

But I still wonder, who is Alicia's husband? Really want to see how he looks. Always so mysterious!

Oh man. They updated it. Relax, me. It's been 3 years. You can do this. All you've got to do is read about 30 pages and NOT CRY.

Edit: Nope. Sobbing on the toilet status achieved. Darn it! Why with this series? I'm a grown ass man and I dissolve in to a blubbering mess every time I read this! I am powerless against these feels! It's just too darn magical and beautiful!!
Noooo, you can't bring back all my feels like this... all this talk of partings is too apt. Saying goodbye to Aria was still very sad, and lonely, but it's a blessing to remember the joy it brought.
Thank you for all your work over the years, Amano Centric Scans.

Yeah, this is the pinnacle of a slice of life. The characters do have struggles, but not much is ever on the line. You know everything will be okay in the end. Sad you couldn't enjoy the series, but it is definitely not for everyone. It's cool that you gave it the shot, though.

loved the special chapter and of course never imagined id see something like this

Thanks for the special chapter, ACS.

Now, the ARIA manga is closed for good.

What a well ride with you all, guys.

FYI, This last chapter ( chapter 60.5 ) Is a special chapter to promote the Bluray edition of all Aria Seasons, including Aria the Avvenire, which is an OVA to celebrate 10 years of Aria Series counting from the first ARIA the Animation episode aired.

How do I upload this new chapter so it appears at the top of the chapter list? I literally renamed it trying to do it and it's still at the bottom.

I've reported the issue to the admin for you.

Thanks for the surprise Aria update!

Just as I was wondering whether I'd ever be able to read the special chapter in english and started poking around the net to try and find it, I refresh Batoto and see this! This is amazing and you guys are amazing!

wait, Aria is alive! wait even more, amano centric scans is alive????? what is this sorcery.

DID THAT JUST HAPPEN, AN EXTRA CHAPTER?!

I still can't believe my eyes, and all the feels are coming back.

Thanks you Amano Centric Scans.

I find this manga relaxed and pleasant to read. The art style, the pace, they are just beautiful.
And what's plot? Can I eat it?

Enjoyed this way more than I thought i was going to. Great Characters, great art and one of the nicest settings I've seen in a manga. I don't really know how to say it but it's just 'the vibe' of the series is so relaxing. I don't think there was a single chapter which didn't leave me with a smile on my face.

Didn't really want it to end to tell the truth.

Truly great. I enjoyed it so much that I even proceed in a slower pace by the last volume because I didn't want the story to end.
