Its really a shame this series is stalled out at the moment. Its funny as hell
Dragon's Crown but with less tits and ass.
Still good!
To be honest abstinence is not that uncommon, a lot of Judeo-Christian religions practice and recommend to this day. Though remaining chast is whole different problem.
She's ENGAGED, not married, and it's a traditional not to have sex before the wedding night. Did you miss the part where the quest giver almost broke off her son's engagement because the young couple hadn't followed that rule? Just because it's uncommon these days doesn't mean it's weird to see it in a manga with a medieval setting...
She's not even married yet and she's currently away from him, out adventuring. It's not really that absurd that they haven't had sex yet. And the characters aren't even established as virgins to create a "pure" harem; the girls have been shown as ridiculous and rude, the inn keeper has barely appeared, and the only character to be drawn in a sexual manner is Bare, and that's usually to lead up to some point or joke. And the entire chapter wouldn't have worked if any of them weren't virgins.
It's funny how you ppl think that his comment has anything to do with porn, seriously, just why?
She's MARRIED but virgin, this doesn't make any sense...
An interesting idea here. I'll look into it later on, when I have some free time.
You are clearly on the wrong site if you are looking for porn without plot. How about you do us all a favor, close your account here and go abuse yourself on one of those sites? We can do without you complaining on every single last comment page. If you can't manage that, then got to the search function and tag 'smut' to find a bit of what you are looking for.
Hey, go read porn or something if the so called "purityfags" bother you so much. Honestly, wtf is wrong with this sex obsessed generation?
Why it seems you're everywhere and it seems urging every fictional character to fuck? Are your criteria of good or not is fucking like rabbits?
The genre tags are clearly stated above: comedy, fantasy and seinen.
I'm here for the laughter and enjoyment not for romance/harem
I really hope that's not where the manga's going, because its pretty funny and I'd hate for it to be bogged down in stuff like that
I like the muscle, she's especially cute
She looks like she would give great hugs
The cover at least makes it look like it's his harem.
Though I'm still not sure what this manga's deal is. Okay, they're all virgins and one(1) of them cares. What next?
Huhhhhhhh...........
Glasses Girl, Best Girl mmm...~!
So does that monster only eat virgins considering its residence? Maybe some asshole cursed that cave so only unsullied maidens can go in, with the intention of feeding it. And how does that Hobgoblin know?
Wouldn't it have been easier to locate the best fantasy virgin detector of all: unicorns?
It's fun to overthink absurdities.
Also, note her face at the bottom of the page: http://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/cooking-papa-r7712
Not sure why you're bashing on the inn keeper guy, he's only been in like 6 pages total so far. Also getting mad that all the girls so far have turned out to be virgins shouldn't even be a reason to drop a manga. Nice working showing them purity fags what's up lol
I thought it was just for the gag but maybe you're onto something here
Oh damn. Oh this is good. Methinks we'll be enjoying quite a bit more of this one. Thank you for the translation.
Eberron, a D&D setting in fantasy 1920s (sort of; I could go on about this). Glen Cook's Garrett, P.I. novels are kind of fantasy noir in a similar sort of time period, if I recall correctly. Steven Brust's Dragaera books have had their moments, too. Not quite all the modern conveniences, but universes with magic replacements for some of them - nearly everyone in Dragaera is psychic and effectively has cell phones.
There have also been a handful of other random manga that have done the same thing, just going, "Oh yeah it's totally a fantasy setting even though we have convenience stores and family restaurants and barcode scanners but it's ~magic~ we swear!" Heck if I can remember names at the moment, though.
