I know. But it doesn't even look like a coherent story especially when Darkness is where they explain stuff. All that happens in Dash is fighting and gore-porn like it was a rough draft of what the full thing is.
Unexpectedly enough, the "apocrypha" in the titles actually makes perfect sense.
It's a Getter Robo manga written and drawn without the involvement of series creator Ken Ishikawa. It is then a Getter Robo story outside of Ishikawa's "canon."
Granted, this usage conflates the Getter Robo series with the Holy Bible, but that's just fandom for you.
Acording to wikipedia this one is a sequel.
The prequel was Apocrypha Getter Robo Dash
Getter Robo Darkness chapter 0 is Dash chapter 6.
1. Brainstorm english words that sound dark and serious.
2. Write the words on pieces of paper and put them in a hat.
3. Pick two words from the hat.
4. Add Getter Robo between them.
5. Repeat steps four and five until title is sufficiently edgy.
Well, yeah. It does feel more Nagai than Ishikawa with all the death rape. BTW can't wait for the cooking part to kick in.
