I found this comic interesting because in my country, who quite believe in supernatural things, we believe there's a djinn/something else beside us. One rule in certain religion even forbid human and them to communicate. Now, the act of 'treat something non-existent as exist one' is blasphemous because it gives 'them' acknowledgment and 'they' love it. If the 'one' who attracted is a naughty one, maybe you'll see some mishap in everyday lives, but if it the evil one... well

Either it something evil or the first dead Misaki, why 'it' uses another dead people, and why 'he' claimed many lives of people related to the class, we never know. Maybe it's the curse for acknowledge 'something' they should not do. Because random translation, I'm not sure, but it seems the mishap year can't be stop (before the way to break the curse) after all? Or that happen because the 'non-existent' student failed their job? Anyway the series is very interesting, and I love how they build the suspense. Now on my way to watch the animation and live action

Liked the overall story, but the translation was bordering on useless. With the amount of grammatical errors and constant swiching of REALLY important terms (such as "The dead one" being used both for sacrifice of the month and the extra) it became almost impossible to follow the plot. It's a mystery manga, correct terminology is bloody essential, I'd say.

I don't regret reading it, but I sure would have enjoyed it much more with a decent translation. I'd happily improve the English myself since I'm fairly fluent in it, but there are places where I couldn't make heads nor tails of what was actually intended to be said. You'd have to be able to read Japanese and take a look at the raws to figure that out, and I unfortunately lack that skill.

Clearly even two proofreaders wasn't enough.

This was a nice read but I just couldn't get into the whole "mysterious" atmosphere it had. I was more confused than anything until the chapter he got Mei to explain everything. It was confusing and slightly frustrating more than anything up until that point.

All right, spoilers ahead with regards to how the anime compares to the manga. Overall, IMO, and I believe you guys should have the same opinion regardless, is that the anime is superior. Of course, in this spoiler I will tell all my reasons.
 

ok i really really hated the ending of the anime of another i mean what the shit did akazawa really have to die. I mean its okay if you want to kill all the other random characters that nobody cares about but do you have to kill my favourite character i mean what kind of heartless person kills a cute character.
I loved the manga though especially since akazawa didnt die!, i mean wasnt that such a better ending. Really i mean that was way way way way............... too may deaths(if akazawa didnt die im okay though)
