Hello again, it's us, the main couple. We're here to take another small step forward.
Jokes aside it's been nice seeing Yurine changing.
Being separated is pretty much unavoidable in the typical life. Everyone's gotta find their own way. That said, "estranged" is like, truly ending contact and falling out of closeness.
Maybe estranged isn't the right word, though... We all separate from our family, and start leading different lives. I have a very close relationship with my little sister. Until she left my home she was bugging me for this or that every day. We were pretty inseparable. These days she lives just 45 minutes away, and just that is enough to have effectively cut our interaction by a substantial amount. It's just not the same anymore. We both have other things that are also important to us. We're no longer the biggest part of each others lives.
That's not to say we're not still very close or incredibly important to each other.
Maybe the norm is different in Japan, but as an American I legitimately cannot imagine being estranged from my siblings. And I'm a rather reticent cunt, but I couldn't do that.
Then again, I don't know how common it is to have a truly close-knit family.
Yeah, I guess it's more acceptable in fiction, especially same-sex romance (since there's no risk of consanguineous children involved), but even then it makes me feel a little uncomfortable. It's like mixing up two contradictory roles.
There's nothing wrong with incest, more so if it's yuri. That is the ultimate form of love.
Yeah, Aika is said to be in Seiran, which means she's in late high-school or college at the most. Probably no older than 20. Haine calls her "Aika-neechan" in Japanese, in fact.
And I don't think there's anything romantic at all, for that matter. >.> That would just be creepy.
Doesn't look like there's actually that much of an age gap to be honest. She's got a few years on her, but her stature would imply not many.

Yeah. I didn't really feel sold on the outcome. Of course, this is a hard result to get across. For most of us, it's counterintuitive. But also, the turnaround was a bit too fast and the "wants to love everybody" girl was kind of a blank, so it was hard to see why everyone was supposed to be falling for her. I can imagine a really good manga that took this basic situation and outcome but made it the core story--went into it in depth, made us empathize with the poly girl, gave the whole deal enough grounding that it felt real.
I mean, I'd fucking hate it if the person I loved herself loved someone else too. But this seemed to work out for these three, so more power to them. Also it was pretty cute.

I didn't like that arc at all.
I'm not the type to pretend I care about "plights" like this. Certainly there's no firm rule saying we must be monogamous creatures, but considering how for most it brings about regular feelings of guilt, well, I understand why it's pretty much not accepted throughout the world. Besides it's more stable dealing with one person.
Also I just don't care. This arc was lame.
