To be perfectly honest, I think the entire thing is satirical of the gender bender genre to begin with. The swap is incredible because the mangaka doesn't take "shortcuts". They do have sex, she gets it over with and it's not built up to be anything amazing or great. The mangaka addresses issues like how coercion is considered "cool" in other mangas when it's really just rapey and the stereotypical girl who loses her mind over the guy because "he was her first". I think the tone is tongue in cheek and that's why I really like this manga. It's just a funny take on the concept of first love and gender roles especially since Koizumi is painted as such a feminine character to begin with.

Volume 7 was the final volume and recently came out. The cover art and obi spoil the hell out of the contents, which is kinda stupid but hey...

Hikaru often if not always refers to herself in third person. It's a trait you see given to a lot of characters with a childish streak (since young children tend to use their names instead of regular personal pronouns like watashi and boku in Japanese).

That's a technical term, but I think it is not okay for anyone to threaten, coerce, or otherwise forcibly convince someone else to have sex.
I am pretty not okay with it. I haven't been for a long time in this manga, and I feel like I should have said something earlier. I just kept hoping that it would get better. Instead it only gets rapier and rapier as the chapters progress.
I am disappoint.
As for Hikaru who already liked her brother but was for the most part accepting of her position as the little sister, once she entered his body, she got a good dose of that testosterone his body is running on, and that threw her actions into overdrive.

trolling is fine though. because if they really did, that swap can never end and it'd just end up being a shitty, easily abused plot element.
Jeez, if I was him, that panel on the last page of chapter 16 would probably break my heart.

the development at this point is honestly not very appealing anymore. overly convoluted.
while it's true that it leaves more room to go on...the aspect that appealed to me when I started this manga is kind of gone.
FYI: Chapter 13 is the start of Volume 4, not part of Volume 3.
Also, one quick TL error I noticed on Ch13 pg18: (With the lead-in being "I'll make you believe you're happy you were born a girl.")
It should be: "But I wasn't!" "Does that even matter at this point?" "It does!"
And it seems they lost their typesetter and editor at that point, because the pages after that devolve into a mess of Engrish and extremely basic typesetting? =\
I'm so glad Chibi seems to be doing these again. Here's hoping they keep on it. There's lots of stuff happening in the late volumes that should be translated...

things are developing well so far though. Youta needs to understand love though.
That doctor... I feel like they've been switched too. So far all the men in the manga have been nothing but clueless, it's only the women who've been able to play Hikaru on her own level - and the doctor has been way too calm and accepting of the situation overall. If that's the case, I feel like switching back is pretty hopeless.
For chapters 7-9 they have some stupid point system to buy a password to the files, ch 10-11 are stuck in a .swf, but its easy to find a program to extract the images and upload.
7-9 are available on mangahere though if anyone want's to download them and reup.

Google them. Apparently the scanlators have a distribution agreement that's incompatible with batoto.
