I honestly don't know anything about the Nasu anime it's talking about but I like it.

It's a pretty casual read unlike most mangas out there already. I liked it.
I suspect some people who rated it down didn't like the art, just looked at it and thought "Oh, that's rough" because they didn't get what the artist was doing.

That was interesting. To my mind it was really effective at communicating a Spanish feel . . . although I mean, I'm not Spanish and I've only been there once, so I'm hardly an authority. But like manga set elsewhere often still feel basically Japanese, reflect Japanese cultural assumptions and the art reinforces that.
Here, the characters, the way they interact, the way they approach situations, really seemed quite Spanish to me. Plus, the art really gave a different impression, the style was not typical manga and to me helped create a Spanish feel . . . one or two frames even reminded me of the famous Picasso "Don Quixote" cartoonish picture (probably deliberate).
The story was fairly cool too. Overall, I quite liked this and was definitely impressed.
