i'm at ch7...and thinking if I want to continue. Someone please spoil the ending for me! I feel like i know how this will end and I won't like it :<

Cleaner/Typesetter here. I just put on my and mariofan's dropbox shared folder the next chapter (even though I was sure I uploaded it yesterday... meh), so you'll get chapter 18 soon! Still haven't started working on ch19 though.
You don't break the hinges off.
You poke the bolts up from the bottom and pull them out.
It isn't that hard.
Have you never painted a door?
Have you tried your method? I wouldn't be able to do it with the door to my room - which is perfectly plain - nevermind one to my office.
A door generally has a part which fits into the frame (pretty snugly) so even if you could break the hinges off (you'd have to, because they are generally screwed into door and frame) if a bolt is holding the door and it is a good fit for the frame you'll have a very hard time to twist it in a way to take it out of the frame.
As for the window - I'd wager it's sturdy so that might be difficult.

You can't lock normal doors from the inside. Just take the door off the hinges. If the guy tries to stop you there's a perfectly good window right there, throw him out of it. I doubt Mr. Pampered can actually fight at all and we know Serika is absurdly strong.
This is such a non-issue if you're willing to think rationally.
