This was good! To bad it's only 3 chapters (1 volume) long; would love to read the 'action-ny' part about Orochi going after his father and there would be a huge showdown!

most importantly, it started well, wasn't bad midway, and ended well. so it's all good.

I think this series got cancelled... even though this is a very promising one

It was really good but rushed endings makes me feel like I had a slice of pizza that was so good that makes me want more, problem is... there's no more.

i thought its the same artist of Sekirei and Returners manga but i guess it wrong... my bad... lolz

This is really good though. while it isn't really similar to Kekkaishi or Nurarihyon, it does somehow remind me of them. Maybe even a little of Ga-rei and Yozakura Quartet as well.

@Oblivion0017 hmm.. instead of yokai, it's more of evil spirits and grudges that dwells
I almost remembered some manga that has that similar concept.. to help explain.. but not on the top of my head now..
But this is not Nurarihyon/Natsume, think of those exorcism/shrine maidens manga out there. Amaenaideyo? (sorry ecchi manga is the first one to come up in my head..)

@Caithsith Actually I think this one's more like kaitai shinsho zero. Heard of that one? Got a main character and a naive supporting female and all. Far cry from Death Note.
What do you define as shounen? There's a lot of shounens out there that's not battle manga, though the ones out there which I can't be bothered to name with those 300+ chapters are usually categorized as shounen
I usually see it as the relationship between the characters, the role of the main characters and the supporting characters, and how the characters relate to the environment, to define shounen
But yes, the battle part helps to categorize this as shounen. And most of the time it's visible from the artwork too.

The art is very clean for this. It also starts pretty funny at the beginning towards the end it gets a bit interesting.
