Lmao.... she wanted a Rocket Punch...
A good balance of comedy, drama and character interaction.
I approve.
I almost remembered some manga that has that similar concept.. to help explain.. but not on the top of my head now..
But this is not Nurarihyon/Natsume, think of those exorcism/shrine maidens manga out there. Amaenaideyo? (sorry ecchi manga is the first one to come up in my head..)
What do you define as shounen? There's a lot of shounens out there that's not battle manga, though the ones out there which I can't be bothered to name with those 300+ chapters are usually categorized as shounen
I usually see it as the relationship between the characters, the role of the main characters and the supporting characters, and how the characters relate to the environment, to define shounen
But yes, the battle part helps to categorize this as shounen. And most of the time it's visible from the artwork too.

Urusei Yatsura reference lol
a cool mc
rare breeds these days
it's like Death Note, it's officially shounen but doesn't feel like one.
well, it does seems to be battle manga so i think "shounen" is appropriate after all
Hmm not a bad first chapter has good potential.
