the back setting for each character get different tough ...
(Type Moon even permit Prism Illya get produced as manga and even anime since they think mahou shoujo out of Fate looks interesting ... it started from doujin from the mangaka ... )
Illya really doesn't though. She and the main character of Prisma Illya are completely different characters. If all people cared about was what they looked like sure it would be, but if that were the case everyone who likes Hisui would automatically like Kohaku and vice versa.
