I was wondering why this manga compilation had such low ratings, now I know.
I read Takamiya Satoru's later work, "Kanchigai Hime to Usotsuki Shimobe" and really liked it, so I decided to check her other mangas out.
This was 5 years earlier, but everything is night and day. The art is bad, the pacing is bad. The romance happens overnight. Nothing makes any sense.
Panels on the same page seem to be missing, seems like stuff were skipped to zoom through the plot.
I don't know if "Kanchigai Hime to Usotsuki Shimobe" just so happens to coincidentally contain all the elements to my liking or that Takamiya Satoru actually improved over time.
Let's hope for the latter.
I can say from this manga and the newer one, she seems to have a distinct shoujo storyline she likes to go for. Also, her approach to the romance is similar in "Kanchigai Hime to Usotsuki Shimobe" as well. Certain kiss scenes and development feel too similar. Let's hope she doesn't stick to the same formula for the romance.
I'm hoping her other mangas have any variety to them in terms of plot and characters.
Honestly, skip this manga because it is definitely written by a 5 year old. Beware, the bato bad rating is for real. Go far away from this.
