Can't get over the expertise with which the hands are drawn. This is more of an art book than a manga.
I really don't want to just wait an entire month so I can read ONE chapter of this manga that is otherwise unavailable. Unless someone's already got it I guess I'll wait.

This is delightful. I love the little sister especially. She is very cute with how they interact with each other. Very brave to insist on the old uniform style, but I wonder a bit why the mother did not make sure of the approved uniform style beforehand. Still, the home-made (but also professionally made) uniform has a certain rural feel to it that emphasizes the disparity of background that sets Akebi apart from her classmates. Nonetheless, the class seems ready to accept her, which is a relief and also very kind.
Ecchi just seems to be one of those tags that people rush to hang on things at the least provocation. "Aaahh! Panties! It's ecchi! It's ecchi!"

No real romance in this series as far as I can tell, although there are some yuri overtones here and there. As of chapter 12 only two male characters have appeared and they are both adults -- Farmer Taira-san (in the prologue) and Komichi's father (chapter 6).
As for the ecchi tag, it's not really appropriate for this series but some folks add it because they think it applies to pretty much anything with girls in it. Selah.
