Yup, seems like all the interesting stuff is gonna happen at a more personal level. Tobari's strategy seems to be not much more than "Love everyone, be nice, and kick ass as necessary." And possibly to seduce everyone with his sheer puppy-faced adorableness.
I guess that's actually not a bad strategy all around, but things would presumably get a lot more difficult if he ever tries to expand beyond a few neighboring mountains...
Yeah, I hope the story doesn't take a backseat.
It would also be interesting to see Remei and Tobari tackle politics and society as they try to realize their Utopia. I have a bad feeling that the main antagonist will never let this depth of world building happen, however...

Its less story, more generic action scenes.
Wonder what the connection is between the bad guy (I forget the name) and Tobari. Father perhaps?
"On equal footing..." -- I don't think footing will ever be equal as long as Tobari is involved. The guy could accidently annihilate a whole village while swatting a mosquito if he didn't hold himself back. Too dang powerful.

Guess the first 20smt chaps were done with google translate. Proofreading ain't no luxury, it's well... english ain't my first language but still, some bubbles are horrible english. Anyway, the recent chapters look readable enough.
