Akaneiro Show Time

All chapters are very well made, the plotlines and characters are really very consistent. But, about first and fourth chapters being essentially the same, I think its not the case. The guts of the heroine, and the feelings conveyed are very different. I really enjoyed reading this. But well, the plotlines are alike, maybe chapter four really could be a previous version of chapter one.

Yeah, the first and fourth stories basically being the same thing was strange. Looking at the art, it seems less refined, so maybe the author wrote chapter four some time beforehand, decided to redo it for this book as chapter one, and ended up including the original version as well as some kind of extra? Curious.

Seriously though, that was way cuter than expected. It may have looked like typical shoujo, but it wasn't. All the stories had original plotlines and engaging characters. None of the leads annoyed me in any way; (first female lead notwithstanding, I didn't like how she behaved when

or even the events that caused that to happen. But even then, I really liked all the stories. ^^) and (again, first female notwithstanding and for the same reason) no one ever broke character. An outgoing character was always outgoing; happy-go-lucky remained happy-go-lucky; etc. (I don't think there were any happy-go-lucky characters in this collection but you get my point. xD)

 

Chapter four confused me though. It took me awhile to realize, but rather than being a continuation of the first story; it's an alternate story with the same characters and same general plotline. Just for those who may have also been confused. ^^
