It really feels like manga from the 90's mmm...

Nice but this remindme the movie "Leon: the professional" well looks good.

Someone liked Trigun a little too much

Tally in at six haters

I hope you didn't tally in my name with that. The premise might reek, but I wouldn't go out of my hating it. Too much investment.

Slightly long review of the manga/chapter.
Spoiler

I'm actually more interested in the whole "bring a failing laundry business back from the brink of disaster" bits than the mafia premise, but I'll bite.

Wow, I guess this one is a bit polarizing. Tally in at six haters, two gushing fanboys, and one on the fence so far.

I kind of like it. The pacing may be awkward and the characters overdone, but picking up after the end of the classic "hitman turned on his holders and basically everyone died" plot doesn't strike me as as godawful as it seems to some others.

But I'm wIlling to bet that whether people like it so far hinges mostly on whether it manages to strike people's nostalgia or not. The over-hammed comedy and generic dark brooding past... for some of us, that was what all the good things were like when we were kids.

boring

How did evil bad guy steal all the money? We clearly see the police barging in and saving the Girl.

Did he somehow transfer funds without them noticing? Why has the Girl no Money? They lived in a Mansion and had enough Money to spend it on that extravagant ring, evil bad guy should not be abe to get everything.

Also, i get the whole "Killing is bad" thing, but this guy is part of an organisation who rules the world(lol) they will come after you and if this Manga would even be halfway realistic they would just bomb the laundry shop...Of course it isn't, so they will do what all generic shounen villains do and send in hitmen with special powers, which will get dispatched by main protag or betray the bad guys and join him.

I'm already seeing the metaphorical axe. The premise reeks. Bad. Like moldy old cheese left in a rotting sock. With a decaying foot in it.

I agree. This manga as a whole is one of the most bland and generic that I've read in a while.

This could turn very popular. I'm already predicting an anime adaptation in a few years if it doesn't get axed

This reminds me with the good old classic manga like Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun and Black Cat,

Will be following this one for sure.

That's a daring thing to say...better hold your horses for now.

And then the mafia retaliated against the entire town and life got worse.

Stories like this don't last long for a reason.
