Chapter 3 is so stupid.

heh. I've read hentai with hotter scenes, a better story and better art. this was lacking on all fronts.

Yeah that was really.... not good. The last story particularly was, pretty worrisome.
Despite how gross the "romance" in this manga was, I'm glad it got scanlated and I hope more works from this artist or similar ones are done in the future, if only for the female-aimed smuttiness.
What's sad is that it's written by a woman. I actually don't mind the first story. I found it pretty funny. Hell if I was single and two hot guys were fighting over me, I'd enjoy it. XD So I don't understand why a lot of people call her a S*** and a B**** (A lot of females not to mention! Makes me sad for my sex's future!). Not her fault two guys were after her and tricked her into being a love maid.
Ooooh but one title I've been eyeing to do is Arte! I hope another group doesn't grab it but it's historical and so maybe even less groups will pick it up? It's so feminist but in a good way. She wants to be an artists but female artists are unheard of in 16th century Florence. She gets so pissed that no one will take her as an apprentice that she cuts her hair in front of a crowd and yells at the artist that rejected her. I don't mind the lots of sex at all, but some of the other crap is crap. The casual cheating, the helpless-woman vibe spread so thick it stands out even for this kind of thing, yadda yadda. All in all, the problem here isn't that there's hardly any plot, it's that what little plot there is, is annoying enough to kill my arousal.

This is interesting for what it is. It doesn't have much plot, but come on, it's smut. If you want to follow the romance then it requires that you suspend quite a bit of disbelief. But it's the same in the normal hentai genre, and often bl and yuri. We all know what this is for, and people who actively seek this out will not be reading it for the great plot and characterization. I'd like to see more josei manga that don't shy away from explicit female-oriented depictions of sex.
Doesn't suit him? The guy had multiple sex maid, the guy is clearly a manwhore. I can bet you all the others quit on him rather than him getting bored of them. It was a job for them.
He might be succesful in his career but the fact that he isn't married and had a random fiance, probably of political nature, speaks volume.

and yes, it's basically the same as hentai since most hentai is about males dominating females and smut is mostly about females being dominated by males...
The bad point is that the masochism in smut is basically "by society", meaning that the female lead is outclassed by the male lead in every single aspect that count for single women nowadays (social standing, wealth, family pedigree, education, physical features), inducing great pressure onto them which leads to willingly copulating as a submissive "partner".
