Christ, this is what David Cage's Detroit game should actually be about. Often times, when a manga introduces some sort of major AI/robot-related law, it's really arbitrary and stupid. However, this manga does it really fucking well. I felt like I was reading something from the Golden Age of Science Fiction. The story-telling isn't that crazy, but the hook for that first chapter is really good. There's some definite inspiration from Tezuka's Black Jack, but nothing wrong with learning from the best.

Went to read the raw, and found the translation's wording to be kinda off at some parts
Oh my god, I was not expecting to be as interested in this as I am. This first chapter is, at the very least, a must read.
reminds me of the video game SOMA. which is why this subject terrifies me.
