Since everyone else is speaking of their crushes when they were young..
Belldandy was my "Crush" too. In a way I saw her as what to look for in a girl, I saw her a model or standards for girls and always wished to find a real life Belldandy.
When it became an Anime, I LOVED the OP song "open your mind". I will play it over and over again... and just imagine.. fantasize of a perfect world... a world filled with love... and most of all... a world where I will find the perfect girl that is meant for me...
..... no nostalgic.... this feeling...
I wan to return again to those days where I was more innocent. .. I want to be innocent again...
If I marry and have a daughter... I might name her that... maybe. ^0^
I just want to thank Goddess Miyaku Team for sticking with this until the end. You guys have brought us quality scanlations of this series for more than 10 years. It takes a real passion to stick with anything that long. You guys seriously rock. THANK YOU FOR GIVING THIS TO US FOR SO LONG!!!
This manga is the epitome of blue balling.
To the point that they actually had to make some bullshit in-universe explanation for the MC's total lack of libido.
It's also a poster boy for "Nothing happens; EVER."
Reading this manga is like traveling in time, it felt like coming back to childhood. I get all nostalgic reading it, seeing clothes, cars you won't see today, The drawing style improves every few chapters, same with commedy aspect. Don't quit reading it after few begining chapters ;]
I imagine they would hold a second wedding for Keiichi's friends and family.
Took me 20 years to finish reading this manga. Belldandy is my favorite female character ever.
I'm fairly certain that I could've skipped the whole thing after the first half passed without missing anything important.

Thank you GMT for tirelessly translating this manga for many years so non-speakers can read this series, it's definitely an instant classic, albeit 25 years in the making.
I can't believe it's been almost 14 years since I started this and it has finally ended. I can clearly remember the very first time I discovered this at a local comic shop. Then discovering and going on IRC to find releases since physical copies were really hard to come by then. Belldandy was seriously one of my first crushes as I read the series (like Motoko Aoyama from Love Hina).
It's like seeing two friends finally tie the knot after all these years. I'm sad I won't be able to see them month after month anymore
By the way, kind of unrelated but here's my reaction after clicking on the author's name....

Ah it finally end, the only romance manga that I read from my childhood. I really do hope there's omake for the rest of the cast.

Never has a shounen series deserved an Omake with the remainder of the supporting cast. Maybe when the final volume is published? We can only hope.
The ending did seem a bit rushed, which is a pity... the earth folks should have had the opportunity to react to K1 and Bell's wedding, especially Megumi, Chihiro, Hasegawa, Tamiya & Ootaki, and maybe his parents...
