Description: | The kingdom of Dowa, which is subdivided into 13 states, is celebrating its monarch's 99th birthday. These thirteen states have many agencies that are controlled by the giant organization known as ACCA. Within ACCA, Jean Otis is the second-in-command of the inspection agency. His agency has 10 people placed in each of the 13 states, with a central office in the capital city. They keep track of all the activities of ACCA across the kingdom, and keep data on each state's ACCA office flowing towards the central office. Jin also often has business trips from the capital to the other districts, to check on the situation and personnel there. |

Mauve and Jean both being at the bakery waiting for the other only for them to not show up always breaks my heart. It's fascinating how their lives intersect in the tumult of the attempted coup, yet they don't realize what the other wants from them and so they drift apart when they could be working together to foil the coup plotters.
Same mangaka, Natsume Ono
Art reminds me of....House of the 5 leaves? Something like that? Watched it years ago and this tickled my brain.
Jesus christ the tension in each chapter is fucking unbearable
Reading this chapter, more happened in Rokkusu than we saw in the anime. It's minor, but it speaks to Grossular's reputation in his home district and brings up the train issue without being so abrupt about it.
Glad to see the scanlations will continue.
Something about the drawings makes them perfect for Russian alphabet in balloons,
I'm following the Russian scanlation too
So to me the story seems inspired by a mix of things, including both Europe and Asia.
the purest most innocent man ever. Always getting dragged into everything
He is so pure you have no idea but he is observant just not to his own life. useless at everything that is not his work lol
He is always trying to help people and he does it without wanting anything in return and to have his trust is the best thing ever. He is unbiased and treats everyone equally and sees everyone's good points and bad points
He is just a chilled, pure, good boy
both of the otuses are angels
There's all this plotting and scheming and serious political drama going on in the background, and Jean's sister just twirls around all Disney princess-like while innocently capturing random princes' and officers' hearts. lol.
Although I can't make Jean out, which makes it fun. The main character is the most mysterious character around...is he an innocent being used as a scapegoat and pawn? Is he a secret mastermind on a mission? Is he just chill and and straight up go with the flow?

The anime is over, but I'm still looking forward to more releases of this manga. I hope the spinoff gets translated as well.
I love how much more detail there is in the manga. While the anime is in my top 5 of all time, it's still not as good as the source material.
it's uploaded but .... I can't read it? "CDN LAX"??
By popular demand, hq releases.
I sent KC a message and he's got the full-size images up now.
It's shame KidCongo uploaded the small images despite there being full size images available (though hidden behind a separate URL).
It has, more concrete a parisian avant-garde vibe.
Pretty normal, actually..

Art certainly different than usual
And the plot has this internal thriller drama feels to it
Man, those SMG pages are fucking tiny. No thanks.
I've readd the manga after seeing the anime, very good, it made clear some parts that the anime simply jumped and left me conflicted.
Seems very good with dialog and world building at ch1. Good that this is being translated. Thanks.
Woah! Great!! Ah take the color spread with the redraw!!
