The twists are definitely a bit much, but overall I still liked it. I also like the fact it was short, I can only stand this type of story if reading it doesn't take too long.

no kidding about multiple twists. Everything is very dramatic and exagerated in too little time. not enough character development. and Oda was a little twisted for someone who is said to be "honest"

Hrm. It took everything a notch too far for me, starting from dramatic premises, feeling very strong up to a point, but letting it fall over to melodrama a tad.
