Why bother developing a human-like AI for a robot that you will sell as a sex doll anyway? I could at least believe it if they're mass producing her to be some sort of self-automating soldier, but sex dolls, really?

This, this is really well done. So many of the characters seem so human, seem to have all these different sides and motives, things that motivate them and they all make sense. The ending was really touching as well, and the way it ended really says something. The idea that in the end nothing changes. Life moves on. I'm not sure how to really take it, but I feel it fits.  It just feels right, and I don't know why.

This was a good read, but man I feel like it was unnecessarily tragic.  There were so many things that would have stopped the situation from getting that bad in real life.  I know the artist did it to make things more interesting but it got too melodramatic for me to take it seriously at some point.

that end was so sad. too realistic. but it was a great story.

Hmm, well being called shit isn't terribly nice, I'll tell you a story.  So I'm in 7th grade and there's this tall 8th grade guy, we'll call him Jack, he went around and did whatever he wanted to, especially to all the "bro's", and "skater" kids (he's like the leader of the bro's).  ("skaters" "bro's" are skateboard riders (typically troublemakers, and druggies, and "bro's" are kind of like skinheads, almost white supremacists) (me being nothing but an observer)  Anyway, there was a skater by the name of Pat, he was quite mischievous, and always doing nonsense.  Jack always kept him in line with threats, and his commanding stature, and bulging jugulars. Somehow or another Pat's older brother, a high school student learned of his brothers "mistreatment", and decided to take action.  One day 2:10 in the afternoon, everyone is on the bus, (Jack, Pat, and me).  Three hulking high schoolers, all as tall as Jack are waiting in front of the bus.  They called out to Jack saying that they had some business.  An altercation insued, in which two held onto  Jack, and the third beat him bloody.  I was in no position to see the altercation, and the whole time my friend was getting angry, and saying "We should do something!" In his squeaky high pitched voice.  The bus driver, an obese lady did nothing, and the occupants of the bus sat silent.  Jack several minutes later got on the bus, and screamed at us, the masses who had sat there and watched (from my angle I couldn't see a damn thing).  His face was bloody, and his whole head was as red as a tomato.  He went to the back of the bus where his seat as an 8th grader was.  

 

Now we all from an objective point of view can say bullying is wrong, we can screech it to the heavens how wrong it is.  But when I sat there, I could only think to myself "This has nothing to do with me.  I don't want to get beat up, those guys are three times my size.  Dad always said never to get into a fight unless it's self defense".  Maybe I was being cowardly, but GODAMNIT this isn't a game.  But, but, but, BUT NOTHING.  We are human.  We do what we do in a given situation based on everything from belief in oneself, to upbringing, and belief in other systems.  Some people jump into the fray to stop an altercation, some watch, some runaway, some close their eyes, and ignore reality!  We all tell ourselves that we'd like to help, but how many of us actually can.  I'd like to think that I a grown man would help someone in need if I saw the situation.  But the cold fact of the matter is that judgement to intervene varies from situation to situation.  I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go on a rampage there, but to blatantly say that bystanders are "worse than scum" is a reckless statement.  We are human, crazy to think what we're capable of isn't it?  Don't feel down about it, it's only natural.  Many other species of decently intelligent animals bully there own as well.  To make other people look bad, or treating someone wrongly because of a perceived slight, or taking things to the extreme simply because of differences occurs all the time.  We're all bystanders, you probably don't even realize it, or even enactors of bullying.  Sorry again guys for going on so long, but I just felt the need to show you that being a bystander happens, and I'm sure many of us have been there, or been bullied, or been the bullier* in some cases.

research shows that a bullying situation can be dissolved within 10 seconds if bystanders intervene. every single bystander who doesn't intervene, is responsible for letting the violence happen, instead of ending it peacefully.

doing nothing is the same as condoning the bullies' actions, at least that's how the bullies will think of it. at the same time, it adds to the victim's sense of shame, and strengthens the feeling that it's their own fault that they're being bullied.

it doesn't matter what excuses anyone comes up with for failing to intervene. in your story, there were all those people on the bus vs three bullies. yet still, nobody from that huge group dares speak up, out of fear that they'd be targeted next. what if ten of you had intervened? the bullies might not have felt strong enough to take on that much.

Pretty shitty ending, kind of ruins it all for me tbh.

That was a really good webtoon! Thanks Noctic and SCS for working on this series and seeing it to the end! All your hard work paid off because this is a webtoon that I have no regrets reading. It hit me deep and I totally recommend it to anyone who might be wondering if they should read this or not!

I do like how Hogu blew up on Anna at the last chapter - I had the impression throughout the story that she liked/loved him - she couldn't say/do anything more after the fact: "NOBODY EVER SHOWED ME!!! UNTIL NOW, NOT EVEN A SINGLE PERSON (not even Anna herself) !!!! HAS EVER SHOWN ME THAT KIND OF KINDNESS...!!!"

Tragic.

Not that one side character died in a painful way, BUT THE DANG PROTAGONISTS ALSO DIE

and the ending... what kind of an ending? That nothing has changed, and that life carries on with its pleasures and cruelties

This webtoon was a good read. Some chapters seemed longer than they were. And even though they seemed long, I didn't feel bored. That's probably why near the ending this series felt rushed to me, the ending lacked the emotion that many other chapters had.

Well, I've seen much worse endings. So I can't complain about it that much.
