Damn that ending felt so half assed and rushed. The serialization probably got the ax and they needed to wrap it up quickly. Played right they could have gotten more then this. There where ,5-6(?), agents from Index that went to japan right? We only saw the complete fight of 3 and only saw the other 2-3 of them when they where introduced and a fourth on that bridge, whose fight was completely skipped. They could have done better but probably couldn't.

Seems I am the odd man out. I didn't like the ending at all. Too rushed and way too much of a 'deus ex machina' resolution. Probably because I could never really manage to like the main character. He felt too insubstantial to me.

See? This is how the anime should have ended.  I really felt that the animators tried to push Yuka too much as the main heroine into Misuzu's route in the anime.  Great manga.

Geh I didn't know there's an anime.. Gonna go watch it.. The manga is a bit confusing for me to follow

 

@alexpte looks like MAL also says it's 3 volumes, and this is indeed 3 vols.

Once again, I have no idea how the fuck that ending happened, but I think I got used to that after my first play-through of the game.

So, eh, I'm just happy that he wound up with Misuzu in the end.

Oddly enough, this is a lot more pure and innocent than either the anime or the VN. I say 'oddly enough', because it somehow actually makes this a lot better.

it ends at chapter 16 if i'm not mistaken and the way it goes is so much better than the anime, which sucked hard.

@drakan While libido is often an appropriate translation for lust, the preferred Latin rendering is Luxuria, dating to Gregory I. consult wiki for more info.

Ahhhhhh. I remember like it was just yesterday when I thought this was a dead series...

well, the one that's missing is libido.

For those who don't know, the names of the black knights are the latin words for the seven deadly sins:
Ira (wrath), avaritia (greed), superbia (pride) and invidia (envy) were mentioned this chapter, the others are gula (gluttony), acedia (sloth) and libido(lust), although according to the manga's description there are six knights, so one might not appear.

It has an anime, and was decently adaptated so you can search for it, the VN is quite good itself, so I will follow the manga.
