to spell it out for you

Inexperienced
I've never been here before.

But this emotion I have
is too great to ignore
Every impulse in my body
Slowly taking control
Every beat from my heart
Slowly I fall

I know
I've decided
I know what to do.

Just give some time
and you'll fall for me too
Formulate a plan
on what to do next
And make it work
...I'll do my best!

The Next Step

Sweet November, heart on a string
Blowing along with autumn's whim
Tounge-tied and terrified to death
Finding it hard to catch one's breath

Inching closer, bridging the gap
To a place that's not on a map
Finding a way straight to your heart
And that's not even the hard part

It's now or never, as they say
Please let this fragile heart convey
If not through words then I will write
To paper what I can't recite

One Day to Be

To say what I have to say

What my heart is trying to show

Should I let emotions flow?

 

All I have is just one chance

To come closer and ask for a dance

Should I stand and “jump the shark”?

Should I follow the beating of my heart?

 

Here I go, there’s no turning back

There’s no hiding the courage I lack

But I need to move, before I lose

One step, two step in my shoes…
